About CAEE

The objective of the Association is to promote nationwide cooperation in the field of earthquake engineering through interchange of knowledge, ideas, research results and practical experience among scientists and engineers, to popularize the knowledge of resisting earthquake to the people in seismic area and to strengthen the international friendship and cooperation between scientists and engineers of China and other countries. 

The association will achieve its objective by:

(a) holding or participating national and international conferences, including bilateral or multilateral conferences on earthquake engineering;
(b) organizing various kinds of training courses, seminars and advanced courses;
(c) promoting technical cooperation;
(d) publishing and distributing technical and journals reports.
